Risk & Regulatory Requirements

Why Certified Cabinets Are Mandatory

1

Vapors form explosive atmospheres at room temperature; Class I flash point < 37.8 °C

2

Container rupture from heat → liquid spill → rapid fire spread

3

Electrostatic discharge can serve as an ignition source

4

Uncontained spills create dual environmental and safety violations

5

Direct deduction in insurance audits and FM on-site reviews

Core Technical Features

Cabinet · Lock · Spill Control — Three Core Systems

38 mm

Double-Wall Insulation

Double-wall steel with 1½" insulating air gap. Fully welded (not riveted) construction minimizes gaps and extends fire protection duration.

74 °C

Fusible Self-Close Door

Self-close models: fusible link melts at 74 °C, doors automatically close in sequence from top to bottom and lock. Meets NFPA 30 and insurer requirements.

3-Point

3-Point Locking System

Stainless steel 3-point bullet latch — forced lock without turning handle. Recessed handle with dual keys supports two-person dual-lock management.

51 mm

Liquid Containment Sump

51 mm bottom sump contains spilled liquids, meeting US EPA requirements. Safety baffles direct overflow to the rear containment area.

2

Flame Arrester Vents

Two built-in flame arrester vents ensure air circulation and vapor control. Can be connected to exhaust ducting.

100 kg+

Adjustable Shelf Load

Freely adjustable shelves meeting ANSI standards, rated over 100 kg. Welded shelf hooks provide anti-slip stability.

Additional features: Epoxy polyester hybrid powder coating (chemical resistant, UV resistant) | Continuous stainless piano hinge | Built-in static grounding connector | Adjustable leveling feet | High-strength reflective patent warning label | Bilingual warning labels | Optional MSDS document box (XGMS1)
